Overview

I'm Elan, an incoming PhD student at Northeastern University's Programming Research Laboratory under Amal Ahmed. I graduated from the University of Maryland: College Park with a double degree in Computer Science and Mathematics while being a part of the PLUM Lab and working under Leonidas Lampropoulos.

While I'm still discovering what exactly within PL I want to pursue, I know that if it has something to do with types and logic, I'll enjoy it.

What I've been up to at a high level!

Apr 2025: Accepted my offer to work under Amal Ahmed at Northeastern University for my PhD!
Jan 2025: Presented a poster about my in-progress work on success types at POPL SRC.
Dec 2024: Graduated from UMD with a double degree in Computer Science and Mathematics and latin honors (Summa Cum Laude).
